Fired a no-hitter in his fourth major league game for the Cubs as a rookie in 1972. Was a dependable mid-rotation starter for the Dodgers in the 1970s and early 1980s, culminating in being named MVP of the 1981 NL Championship Series when he defeated Montreal twice.
