John Coleman

In the 1880s, when being a professional baseball ballplayer often meant having to fill in at several different positions, John Coleman was a right fielder and pitcher, though he had varying degrees of success. He played for Philadelphia in both the National League and the American Association and on the mound he was quite durable, though he lost an amazing 48 games for the Qaukers in 1883 as a 20-year old rookie.
