The easiest batter to strike out in baseball history, Jack Cust led the league in that category three times. He also had tremendous power and despite playing in cavernous Oakland Coliseum he hit between 25-33 homers in his three best seasons from 2007-2009. But he didn’t really have a defensive position and when his power faded (coincidentally at the time MLB started aggressive testing for steroids), his career was over.
