Chad Kreuter

Chad KreuterThe starting catcher for the Detroit Tigers in 1993 when Sparky Anderson used Mickey Tettleton all over the diamond rather than just behind the plate. Kreuter did what almost everyone else did on the early 1990s Tigers – he hit some home runs that season, 15 in fact, a career high that he never again approached.

Kreuter was able behind the plate and a switch-hitter, which helped him carve a 16-year big league career that saw him suit up for seven teams.
